v1.12.1 September 24, 2026

• Fixed PRO: Tamper protection now visibly reports a change to the configuration file made outside the application — until now the finding was only written to the service log. New: a warning banner on the dashboard of the desktop app and the web interface with "Confirm change", a notification over every configured alert channel, an audit log entry and Windows event 1300 (confirmation: 1301).
• Fixed: Each change is reported exactly once, even when the service and the desktop app detect it at the same time. A process without access to the signing key no longer raises a false alarm.

• New ENTERPRISE: Additional users for the remote web interface — any number of accounts besides the primary one, as administrator or "read-only". Read-only accounts see everything but cannot change or trigger anything. Managed in the web interface and in the desktop app; every account can change its own password under "My account".
• New ENTERPRISE: Audit log — logins, failed attempts, lockouts, user management and every change with its result, filterable and exportable as CSV, additionally in the Windows Event Log (event IDs 1200–1208).
• Changed ENTERPRISE: In the "monitoring only" operating mode, the desktop app and the web interface hide every setting that only serves the shutdown. The saved values are kept.
• Fixed: The overall status on the web interface dashboard was English even in the German interface.

• New ENTERPRISE: UPS monitoring — "monitoring only" mode (globally or per UPS: alert without shutting down), warning thresholds per UPS for battery charge, load, battery temperature and input voltage, and the UPS self-test via SNMP or NUT, manually or on a schedule.
• New: Vertiv (Liebert), Huawei and CyberPower are read directly via SNMP — even when RFC 1628 is not enabled on the network card.
• New: SNMP traps in the standard UPS-MIB format (RFC 1628) for new installations; existing installations keep the previous format.
• Changed PRO: Microsoft Teams now works only via a Workflows webhook. Please switch existing Teams alerts to the workflow URL in the alert manager — the previous Graph API route could not send messages.
• Fixed PRO: With multiple UPS devices, an outage now shuts down only the hosts of the affected UPS instead of the entire environment.
• Fixed: Numerous improvements from a code review — shutdown sequence, Hyper-V connections, SNMP polling and service stability; a damaged configuration file is no longer overwritten with defaults.
• Fixed ENTERPRISE: The remote web interface on a "service only" install without an Enterprise license now shows license management, so an Enterprise key can be entered without the desktop app. Initial setup is protected by a one-time setup token.
• Security: The updater additionally verifies the setup's digital signature.

• Fixed: SNMP parsing for Socomec, APC and Eaton UPS devices corrected against the official vendor MIBs and Network UPS Tools drivers. Socomec previously triggered a false shutdown when the UPS was on mains but the battery was weak or faulty; APC runtime was never read due to a parser bug, so the runtime threshold never fired; on Eaton devices a misread OID caused a persistent false "replace battery" warning. Model, serial number and manufacturer are now read correctly for all three vendors.
• New: The entire user interface is now fully bilingual (German/English) — every previously hardcoded text in dialogs, log messages and the updater now follows the selected language. Application logs are now uniformly in English.
• New: For large UPS fleets: a switchable compact view (table instead of tiles) on the dashboard, a new PDF export covering all UPS devices at once (GUI and web interface), and a revamped web dashboard with a fleet overview and a "problems only" filter.
• New: UPS model and serial number are now saved during setup instead of being queried fresh before every report — reports are faster and stay complete even if a UPS is briefly unreachable.

• Fixed: The "What's New" dialog could push its own Close button off the bottom of the window when the release notes were long enough to hit the window's height cap — the button was left barely visible as a thin sliver. The content area now scrolls on its own, and the Close button stays fixed and always visible.
• New: Added a step-by-step in-app FAQ guide for the generic webhook alert channel — how to get a webhook URL from Slack, Discord, n8n, Zapier or your own endpoint, enter it, and test it.

• Fixed: The in-app FAQ's walkthrough for Microsoft 365 sign-in via device code (no client secret) ended right after the Azure setup, without saying where to enter the values in the app or that you then need to click "Request Device Code". Added.
• Fixed: Two channel names in the in-app FAQ didn't match the actual on-screen section titles — corrected.

• New PRO: Servers can now get their own, earlier runtime threshold for shutdown — once the UPS runtime drops to this value, only that server is shut down immediately, independent of the global threshold. Useful for less critical systems that should be sacrificed early to save battery runtime for more important ones.
• New ENTERPRISE: The remote web interface can now be set up directly from the desktop app — a new "Remote Web Interface" tab in General Settings covers port, bind address, IP allow-list and credentials. The installer now offers the web interface on a "service only" install as an explicit, unchecked option instead of enabling it automatically.
• New PRO: The service can now notify you automatically when a new version is available (opt-in under Alerts → Triggers), and the web interface's own network settings can now be edited directly in the web interface itself, without a local GUI.
• Fixed: Username for Hyper-V hosts and servers is now a required field. Without a username, the WinRM connection silently fell back to the Windows identity of the running process — for the Windows service, by default an account without the necessary Hyper-V rights. A connection test from the GUI could appear successful while the real emergency shutdown via the service would have failed unnoticed.
• Fixed PRO: Several corrections to the new per-server early shutdown feature — it now requires several consecutive confirmations like every other trigger instead of acting on a single reading, a too-tight time budget could no longer block the entire emergency shutdown, and a server shut down early is now correctly made available again for the next outage.
• Fixed: An expired session could make the web interface's service page unusable. A Hyper-V host newly created via the web interface was missing a pre-selected UPS, which excluded it from the Host SLA report and from a real emergency shutdown.
• Fixed: On a maximized main window, Save/Add buttons could disappear behind the taskbar; the window's minimum size is now enforced reliably.

• Fixed: A power-outage forced-shutdown signal from the UPS (FSD) could, in rare timing windows, be overridden by a brief status flicker back to "online" — either cancelling an emergency shutdown that was still required, or preventing the software from re-arming after mains power returned.
• Fixed: When multiple shutdown-order groups were configured, a single unresponsive host in an early group could delay later groups far beyond the configured runtime threshold. Shutdown groups now share one overall time budget.
• Fixed ENTERPRISE: The Monitoring lock screen in the desktop app incorrectly said the feature was included in the Pro edition; it has required the Enterprise edition since v1.9.0. Existing Pro licenses keep their access as before, only the wording was wrong.
• Fixed ENTERPRISE: An unexpected error in the remote web interface could go completely unlogged, including in the Support Bundle. Such errors are now always recorded in the service log.

• New ENTERPRISE: Remote web interface for Windows Server Core without a local GUI — a dashboard with a battery/load history chart, UPS/host/extra-server configuration, reports, topology, log/history, service control, and emergency shutdown, all through the browser over HTTPS with login and session protection.
• New ENTERPRISE: Custom UPS OID profiles and your own TLS certificate can be uploaded directly through the web interface, alongside configuration backup and restore.

Shows the version, release notes, and links to the manual download and full changelog.
